A new solar chapter for education in Panama

A new solar chapter for education in Panama

Our colleague Franklin Raymores Len, International Sales Manager, had the honor of participating in the launch event of the ALMA MATER solar project held at the University of Panama – Faculty of Agricultural Sciences, Chiriquí campus.

With 40 MWp of installed capacity, this is the largest solar plant in the public educational sector in Latin America, resulting from a public-energy-private partnership. It will provide clean energy to all 228 university buildings, directly benefiting over 90,000 students and 10,000 faculty and staff, covering 100% of their electricity consumption.

The event brought together national authorities and our strategic clients and partners, such as Greenwood Energy and Grupo SEMI, with whom we shared this important day.

At Asturmadi Reneergy, we are proud to be part of projects that combine sustainability, innovation, and social development.
