A key meeting point for the energy sector

On March 24 and 25, we participated in Energyear Spain 2026, one of the leading energy sector events in Spain and Europe.
This event brings together developers, investors, engineering firms, and technology companies in an environment designed to foster networking, knowledge exchange, and the creation of new business opportunities. At a time when the energy transition is accelerating rapidly, these types of forums become key spaces to understand where the market is heading.
The energy transition and the role of solar power
The energy sector is undergoing a major transformation. The growing demand for energy, together with the need to reduce emissions and move towards more sustainable models, is accelerating the deployment of renewable energy worldwide.
In this context, solar photovoltaic energy stands out as one of the most efficient, scalable, and competitive technologies. However, maximizing its performance requires not only high-quality modules but also structural solutions that optimize their behavior in the field.
The role of solar trackers
Solar trackers are systems designed to orient solar panels following the sun’s path throughout the day. This capability increases solar radiation capture and significantly improves energy production compared to fixed structures.
Their implementation has become a standard in large-scale photovoltaic plants, where efficiency, reliability, and the levelized cost of energy (LCOE) are key factors.
AST-1V: our technological commitment to solar tracking

During Energyear Madrid 2026, we presented our AST-1V tracker, a solution developed within our Solar Tracker line, integrated into Asturmadi Group.
Optimized design and efficiency
The AST-1V has been designed to deliver high energy performance through a robust and optimized structure, capable of adapting to different terrain configurations and environmental conditions.
Operation and maintenance
One of the key aspects of the system is its focus on operational simplicity and reduced maintenance costs, critical factors in utility-scale projects where long-term efficiency is essential.
Reliability and scalability
The system meets current market needs, combining structural reliability with the ability to scale in large photovoltaic developments.
Technical workshop: deep dive into AST-1V

As part of our participation in the event, we organized a technical workshop where we explored the key aspects of the system.
Workshop content
During the session, our experts covered:
- Tracker structural design
- Operating principles and solar tracking
- Maintenance and optimization strategies
- Use cases and real project applications
The session was led by:
- María José Muñiz (Pepa) – Commercial Director
- Víctor García – Technical Director
This space enabled a technical dialogue with industry professionals, addressing questions and sharing applied knowledge.

Conclusions: strengthening our position in the sector
Our participation in Energyear Madrid 2026 reinforces Asturmadi Reenergy’s commitment to developing innovative solutions for the energy sector.
Beyond product presentation, the event has been an opportunity to:
- Strengthen relationships with strategic partners
- Identify new business opportunities
- Share vision and knowledge with the sector
We continue moving forward, driving solutions that contribute to a more efficient, sustainable, and future-ready energy model.
